Field of application
- Fine-pored woods such as beech, maple, cherry wood and walnut
- Stain emphasises the pores (e.g. rustic effect on oak and ash)
- Softwoods that are not to be given a positive staining effect

Substrate requirements
The substrate must be clean, dry, free of dust, grease and loose substances, and prepared in the correct manner.
Wood moisture content: 8-12%

Preparations
Sand the raw wood with P 120 - 180.
Apply the stain immediately after sanding.

Application

Stir well, including during application or after a break in work.
Apply material evenly with a brush or by spraying.
It is recommended to apply by spraying then touch up with the brush.
Flow cup gun: nozzle size: 1.0 - 1.6 mm, atomiser air pressure: 1.0 - 2.0 bar.
Seal opened containers well and use contents as soon as possible.

Check colour, adhesion and compatibility with the substrate by setting up a trial area.

Drying
Practice values at +20 °C and 65% relative humidity.
Low temperatures, poor ventilation and high humidity delay drying.

With Aqua KB-004 clear or water

Working tools / cleaning

Flow cup gun, brush with natural bristles (metal-free ferrule)

Clean tools with water or Aqua RK-898 Cleaning Concentrate immediately after use.
Ensure that any residue from cleaning is disposed of correctly.

Storage / shelf life

If stored unopened in its original container in a cool, dry place and protected against frost, the product will keep for at least 12 months.

Approx. 60 - 100 ml/m² (plus spraying loss)

Pour diluted stain into a rust-proof container and use up promptly.

Disposal instructions
-
Larger quantities of leftover product should be disposed of in the original containers in accordance with the applicable regulations. Completely empty, clean containers should be recycled. Do not dispose of together with household waste. Do not allow to enter the sewage system. Do not empty into drains.
