Sand rough wood and old paint coats; this improves adhesion of the coating
Remove sanding dust with a painter’s dust broom
The wood must be clean and free of wax and grease
Lay out sheeting and mask off the surroundings
Remove resin galls with a spatula
Wash out the resin stains with a thinner & brush cleaner
Processing
Processing
Stir all Remmers products well before processing so that the pigments and binding agents are distributed evenly
All Remmers products are ready to use and do not need to be thinned
Different colours of a single product can be mixed together - however different products cannot usually be mixed
Impregnate non-resistant (pine) woods outdoors before actually painting. If HK glazes / wood protection creams are used, this work step is not necessary. All-round wood protection is already integrated
Always apply in the direction of the grain
Apply a second coat once dry
Observe consumption information: ‘A lot is not always the right solution’
